Hugo Commands

Some useful Hugo commands.

Hugo is a popular static site generator (SSG) that allows you to build and deploy fast, secure, and SEO-friendly websites.

This is a list of common Hugo commands:

Note: All commands should be run inside Hugo site folder.

hugo new content [path] [flags]
# e.g.:
hugo new content content/posts/post-title.md

Creates a new content file.

hugo server -D

Runs the local web server at http://localhost:1313 including draft content.
